Riyadh – The Ministry of Interior conducted nationwide inspection campaigns from November 14 to November 20, targeting violations of residency, labor, and border security laws across the Kingdom. The initiative yielded significant results, reinforcing Saudi Arabia's commitment to upholding its legal frameworks.

Key Results

Recorded Violations:

Residency laws: 11,336 violations

Border security: 5,176 violations

Labor laws: 3,184 violations

Border Crossing Attempts:

1,547 individuals were apprehended for attempting to illegally enter the Kingdom.

Nationalities: 32% Yemenis, 65% Ethiopians, and 3% others.

71 individuals were arrested for attempting to leave the Kingdom illegally.

Facilitators Arrested:

22 individuals were detained for facilitating violations by transporting, sheltering, or employing violators.

Expatriates Undergoing Procedures:

Total: 22,658 expatriates (19,651 men and 3,007 women).

15,134 violators were instructed to contact their embassies or consulates for travel documentation.2,656 were advised to arrange travel bookings for departure.

10,666 individuals were successfully repatriated.

Government Action

The Ministry of Interior reaffirmed its dedication to enforcing laws while ensuring humane treatment during the processing of violators. Authorities coordinated with foreign embassies and consulates to expedite documentation and departure arrangements for those detained.
